Court RP's mission is to make justice free and accessible to every Canadian. Lawyers are extremely expensive, yet the court process for self-representation is overwhelming and complicated. Court forms, like most official government documents, were never shaped by a UI designer, which makes them hard to read, hard to understand, and hard to even get started with.
So we built Court RP as a self-financed project: a genuinely helpful app meant to bring real value to millions of Canadians. The catch is that the more powerful the processing, models, storage, and sophisticated legal computing we add, the more expensive it becomes for us to run. On top of that, more people join every day as they discover the app, which makes operating a self-sponsored project extremely costly.
Here is our promise: any Canadian can use Court RP for free. After a certain period of time your access may pause for a couple of minutes so we can manage computing costs, or you can keep going uninterrupted for an extremely small fee with Basic Access.
And if Court RP helps you, feel free to donate whatever you like. Every contribution keeps justice accessible for the next Canadian who needs it, and helps fund the new features and autonomous capabilities we want to add, which require even more computing.
Our end goal is to:
Let's make Court RP the most valuable tool in the hands of every single Canadian.
Want to help keep it free for everyone?
For individuals representing themselves in court.
Upload documents, photos, and messages. Court RP autonomously analyzes and organizes everything.
Generate direct and cross-examination questions based on your case facts.
Practice with an AI opponent that plays opposing counsel and gives feedback.
Build a clear chronological timeline of events linked to your evidence.
Follow clear, plain-language steps to file a claim, open a case, or respond to the court, with guidance at every stage.
Clear up any doubt by asking questions and getting answers that quote the official source they come from.
Court RP includes a separate, dedicated portal for legal professionals. Manage all your client cases from one place, track your time and disbursements, create invoices, and collect payments directly into your own Stripe account.
Maintain a dedicated client list. Create cases on behalf of clients, link existing cases to a client profile, and manage every matter from one dashboard.
Log billable hours against any client and matter the moment work happens. Hours and rates are captured accurately and held until you are ready to invoice.
Record court filing fees, courier costs, expert fees, and any other disbursement against a client file. Everything flows automatically into your invoices.
Create itemized invoices with one click. Unbilled time and expenses are pulled in automatically, with subtotal, GST/HST, and total calculated for you.
Payments go directly to your connected Stripe account. Court RP never holds your money. Funds settle to your bank on Stripe's normal schedule.
Each invoice gets a unique secure payment link. Send it by email or text. Your client pays by card with no login required. The invoice marks paid automatically.
Answer a few questions about your case type, jurisdiction, and desired outcome.
Add documents, photos, texts, and emails. Court RP autonomously analyzes and organizes them.
Get examination questions, timeline, and practice against a highly competitive AI opponent.
Use the mobile app in court for quick access to notes, questions, and evidence.
Court RP never makes up the law. Everything we surface is real, publicly available government information, brought to your fingertips so you can decide how to use it.
During a live case, every suggested law, statute, or case citation is checked against official government resources only, with the official link included. We do not let AI invent or guess legal information.
Court RP is not your lawyer. It proactively surfaces relevant laws, statutes, case citations, and examples of how similar cases were handled, so you have more official options to study. The choice of how to use them is always yours.
We truly hope you do, and we wish you the very best. That said, the outcome of your case is never ours to decide, so we cannot promise or guarantee that you will win.
Court RP cannot guarantee the result of your case and is not responsible for it, just as no lawyer or legal professional can promise a particular outcome. A case has many moving parts that can shift it in any direction. The result depends on the totality of the circumstances and the evidence presented, which the judge or jury weighs to reach a decision. Even a judge cannot tell you, at the start or partway through, how your case will end.
